How to fit the
R-16
Shoulder Rig
Single Shoulder Rig

We supply either leather straps or
Chicago Screws to secure the rig in position

Use LockTite to keep
the screw tight
or
use the leather washers

Trim off the excess strap once you
are comfortable with the fit.

We suggest you leave 3-4 inches
of excess strap for obvious reasons.

There are plenty of holes in the shoulder
and back straps for a comfortable fit

First, take a moment to look
over your shoulder rig.

The Rig is completely adjustable

We have provided you with either
leather strings or Chicago Screws
with which to make adjustments
to the shoulder straps.

These screws may also include small leather
washers. These washers should be used
with the Chicago screws...they provide
pressure when the screws are tightened.

These Chicago screws should be used
wherever adjustments are needed
in your new shoulder rig.

Next...
Here's what the back side
of your rig looks like.
We have provided you with
extra long Straps that can
be cut to the length you wish once
you have fit the rig to your body.
You will notice we have provided a
number of "holes" both in the
shoulder straps and under the
arms where you can attach
the straps to best fit you.

Back Straps are fully
adjustable

Looking at the rig here
you can see that the Straps
that cross your back are
attached to the shoulder rig

These straps can also be
adjusted along the shoulder
straps to best fit you.

There are attached along with the
Chicago Screws you received.

You may find addition holes
along the top of the shoulder
rig to make these adjustments.

Be sure the Chicago screws
are tight once you find the right fit.

You may wish to use "Locktite"
but be aware this may "lock" the
screw tight and make it difficult to
unscrew if needed

Fitting the Frontier
R-90 Shoulder Rig

You may wish not to use the
Buckle/Strap configuration shown
above...then just remove the buckle
section of the strap and attach the
straps directly to the Shoulder straps
as shown below using the Chicago
Screws. Both Front and Back of the
straps are attached the same way.

Holes along the top of the Shoulder
Strap are for adjusting the top strap.
Chicago screws
secure the strap to shoulder strap.

Once you fit the rig, cut the straps
to length desired and secure.
